A bad habit of ours is... Not time-syncing our cameras before a wedding!  What a headache!!

Depends on what you mean by supplies, in my case that might refer to fabrics and costumes and props, generally picked up at antique clothing shows or Western Costume in the San Fernando Valley.

I feel most inspired when... When it creeps up on me or hits me like a thunderbolt.

A website I visit often... I like to check on what's going on with any of the numerous Jan Saudek sites, a Czech photographer my work is sometimes compared to.   I am, however, unworthy of spit polishing his shoes.   He is the Master.

One thing I do daily for my business...  I don't do anything daily, getting a leg up as a photographer is damn depressing, fortunately I'm not really a photographer, I dabble, I write for a living, so…I write for a living.

Ashlee "Blu's intern" graduates

Congratulations to Miss Ashlee, Blu's intern.

 Ashlee graduated from 8th grade yesterday and is headed to high school.

My little gift to her parents was to have NEW photog Charles & Tiffany Brinton snap some photographs of this beautiful child as she was getting ready for her big ceremony.

Last night we all celebrated, met her friends, ate cupcakes and toasted to the future of this little girl. (hence the reason my post is so short)

The Project I am going to make a book. I will publish it. Name to be determined.  The Project is to archive the people who captured the visual essence of life.

What you will send me: A black and white self portrait & the photograph that captures your style  (make sure they both are your favorite because remember it's going to be published) And the most important piece I wil need is this answered: What are the 10 things you hope to attain in your lifetime. (Each one should be one line) This is a question that most of us don't think of. Most of us get caught up in the doldrums of daily life and forget to seek out the larger picture. At some point we have to see the end of the road and recognize what we ultimately want attain in this life. I then hope you will start to cross things off your list!
