I find it hard to post an entry today when the world is mourning the loss of these wonderful people. (13 photos not released yet) Our prayers and love go out to the family, friends and students at Virginia Tech.
Promote unconditional love & acceptance.

Thank you for this post. As someone with several family members and clients who graduated from VT, and as a former resident of Blacksburg, I appreciate your thoughts.
These unthinkable acts of devastation always seem so far away, but as I look at each face you've posted they are so frighteningly familiar and it hits a nerve. Why, why, why ............ I don't understand. Your 'unconditional love and acceptance' should be part of every society - so simple to adhere to, wouldn't you think?
For some reason this week in April is such a difficult time. I was in OKC during the bombing and Denver during Columbine. As we grieve for those lost at Virginia Tech, it makes me remember those lost in those two tragedies also. Unconditional love and acceptance is what this world needs...and that starts in each of us.
Blu,
Thank you so much for your post. It has been a difficlut time these past few days living through this hell. I am filled with sadness as I saw the names of the individuals that were killed. I am an alum and had two of the professors for class and went to school with a third faculty member. My family and I are heading down this Saturday to spend some time on Campus while hopefully reaching out to some of the students and maybe run into some old classmates.
This is why I do what I do. There will come a time in all of our lives when pictures are all that's left. Peace with the families and friends who experienced such a great loss.
I can't even begin to imagine what those people are going through. Im a die hard LSU football fan. We open at home with Virginia Tech. Ill be wearing Burgandy and Gold instead of Purple and Gold. A small token of respect. My condolenses.
This was a terrible incident. Our thoughts and prayers go to the family and friends of those who are no longer with us. To hear that the gunmen sent a manifesto to NBC with video clips??... how tragic. Tiffney is correct pictures are more than pieces of paper...

Amen to unconditional love and acceptance. We tend to be too judgemental of ourselves and others. Peace to all.
