My name: C.J. Scott
My style: ARTISTIC . MODERN . EDGY .
Where I'm from: Victoria, B.C., Canada
Why I do what I do: Being a photographer affords me the opportunity to nurture the creative side of my personality, and the concept of sharing with people the beauty that I see, is in my mind, a truly wonderful thing.
The piece of equipment I can't part with: My 85 mm 1.8 and my 70-200 2.8 IS lenses.
The vendor you should know about: B&H Photo and BluDomain of course!
If I had to have someone shoot a portrait of me it would be: Mark Seliger
What I had for a snack today: Roasted seaweed strips. Trust me…they’re yummy!
One thing I struggle with: Multi-tasking…both my husband and computer require quality time and attention.
A piece of advice that improved my photography: Don’t be afraid.
If not a photographer I would have been: Singing on Broadway as a musical actress!
A hobby of mine: Singing
3 things on my desk: My favourite New York mug, a standing corkboard covered with a collage of my nature shots, and my daily organizer (with a bunch of miscellaneous paper sticking out of it).
C.J's favorite image of recent
A product in my shower that I buy monthly: Pantene Pro V shampoo and conditioner.
The dream shot I'm still waiting for: The drop dead gorgeous bride in a couture gown elegantly spilling over a sleek modern chaise.
A CD I'm listening to: The Dreamgirls Soundtrack
Something I do to market myself: Most of my work has come from referrals so far.
The last good movie I saw: Dreamgirls
The perfect client is: Someone who trusts me and is as enthusiastic about the creative process and experience as I am.
The shoes I'm wearing right now are by: Reber by Naturalizer…comfy black loafers.
My best feature: My effervescent personality (so I’ve been told)…and my eyes :)
A habit of mine: Lighting tons of candles at night around my home. I *love* candles!

Ha! Unfortunately, I'm having technical difficulties with my new site directing to my old blog (which was deleted). Hopefully it's all worked out by tomorrow sometime and people can actually see my new site for real!
Cheers,
