Version B Launches

The concept behind Project XL was to create two interfaces from one project idea. Version A is a bit random, and playful.  Version B is a bit more uniform and clean.

Both sites are $500.00 until Friday at 6 p.m. MST.

The best part is that you only use one admin and at anytime you can have characteristics of Version A or B.

If you want the thumbnails tilted click a box, if you want them uniform click another box. If you like the font in version A click that box and if you want the font in version B click another box. If you want a textured background click one box and if you would like a plain background click another box.

So ladies and gentleman here is Project XL my debut at BluDomain!  Sorry it had to come in pieces however I'm slow as a turtle still.  A big thank you to creative director, Harald for allowing me the space to be creative, innovative and loose with my visions and concepts.

Project XL ONLY 500.00

Version B to launch in 1 hour.

Just some quick last minute notes so nobody is confused-

** The 500.00 special will resume until Version B has launched for a full 24 hours.
** I forgot to write a detail when I wrote about the new interface.  The images on the homepage and the galleries can or don't have to be tilted. That is an option you have on the back-end.
** Version B will debut late late tonight, early morning meaning 3 a.m. or when BluDomain opens tomorrow. 
** Version B and Version A were a concept I had from the day I learned it was FINALLY my turn to design. I live more on the edge and like to be very unique  however when I was designing I also kept in mind that some people have an image to live up to. So that is why I felt from day one there had to be a Version B.  I'm slow as a turtle I have realized however I want to work for BluDomain until I'm super old.

Contest Winners Announced

Breaking News-  I have finished the small details on Version B. Project director, Aundrea takes over from here to make it look pretty. She is very particular and picky so with that said the Version B will launch maybe late late tonight, early morning or tomorrow morning. I need lots of room for you fun fans! Please don't drink coffee and refresh hundred times (BluDomain always feels guilty and responsible)  I promise the deadline of $500.00 will extend on Version A and Version B for 24 hours from when I officially launch the site.

Thank you for the hundreds of incredible emails! I had so much fun designing this new interface.

Our objective for this new interface was to design something unique and cutting edge. This interface is for the client who seeks something a little different with a touch of artistry. Though still adherent to our simplistic style we wanted to create something that looked a bit more custom. Sometimes adding elements of artistry can be very subjective and we were well aware of this before the debut. We are excited to have covered a niche of clientele which may not have considered using a template in the past!

Project XL encompasses two interfaces. Version A and Version B. That was the surprise yesterday but due to the pressure from BluDomain fans and my lack of sleep I just couldn't rush the final details. Version B to launch today.

BluDomain Contest Winners

More surprises...  We are announcing 3 winners for our contests instead of 2. In Contest B we asked you to send in a photo of yourself with a sign that ready naughty or nice. We had to award both categories. In Contest A you were asked to send in a photograph of a teacher and another photograph of the sign of the school.

I can't tell you my reaction when I first saw this entry.  I really believe that she has been naughty. What guy wouldn't want this girl wrapped up under their tree. So congratulations to Theresa Thurman! Sometimes it pays to be naughty. Theresa is the winner of a BluDomain interface. Email me for details Theresa. Congratulations to Mr. Teacher who is the father of photographer Katherine Torres. Mr. Kyle Bergen is a teacher at Stewart Middle School in Douglasville, GA. So a shout out to the kids at Stewart!  We love that he become a history teacher at the age of 50 years-old. Congratulations to Katherine who just won a BluDomain interface. And our final winner goes to Travis Maynard. Overwhelming consensus showed that you all are being "NICE" this year. With over 1000 entries we could not decide and simply put all emails in a folder and picked the lucky number of 756. Travis is the winner of a brand new BluDomain website.

Project XL Launches

 Contest winners to be announced. Many of you are wondering why the late site launch?  Well that is because I designed two versions of the new Project XL.  We hoped for it to debut yesterday however after working on it all weekend I still have small details left to work on. Woo-hoo


Whew!  I'm am exhausted.

Welcome to Kailee's first creation.

This site is quite unique and a bit of a removal from our clean simplistic style.  This interface is completely scaleable and will scale to fit your
screen regardless of screen resolution or screen size.  Those of you lucky enough to have the 30" Mac monitor will be pleasantly surprised!  We have come up with a design that is functional and artistic with a playful chalkboard theme.  As is the same in all our sites you get bulk uploading,
color editing ability, text and image editing ability and an unlimited jukebox.  You have full control of changing your colors .

We are also introducing our latest database which will allow you to decide how many galleries and how many text sections you have - you can choose how to arrange the 12 buttons your site comes with - plenty for any need you desire.

You will also be able to adjust the thickness of the photographic border - we known this is something that has been subjective in the past and we are
now putting that control in your hands.

You will also be able to choose if you want your songs to play in random order so that every time someone comes to the site they may hear a different
song.

The calendar feature is back with a cool handwritten look.  You can show your clients dates booked or available dates and also mark what you have going on at any given time on the post it note attached to the calendar.

The new era of design will introduce sites that use all your allotted screen space... This site is sure to make an impact on your clients.

Jacks Trip Around the World

Jack has arrived in Costa Mesa, California where he will be staying for a week with the most adorable photographer- Lauren Hillary.  Jack has new friends Stellas & Dixie. Jack hasn't spent much time with cats so he is thrilled. 16 more days until Christmas and Jack is getting in the spirit.

** Okay Aundrea is very spoiled. I can't believe the love she receives. Online gift certificates, presents, flowers to her hotel from her clients.  Happy Birthday Aundrea. Some pictures later from birthday girl.  She is in Las Vegas and I gave her a little wake-up call but she wasn't too happy. Turns out birthday girl didn't finish dancing until 5 a.m.

Project details- Galleries, text sections, calendar, proofing, testimonial page. NEW- you choose how many galleries and text sections you would like. We give you 12 sections. Featuring our choose your section tool in the admin. Maybe you need a testimonial page and calendar that leaves you with 10 sections. Choose an additional 7 galleries and 3 text sections for a total of 12 sections.
