** BluDomain has collected a years worth
of data. Anytime someone mentioned another photographer in a "good way" we put a star next to their name. We finalized the list and it was obvious who other photographers admired, were inspired by, looked up to, and bragged about. Now just because you didn't make this years list doesn't mean you weren't on our "Stardom Map" The map was continuous and lit up our office, we used metallic stars. We had to cut the list and that is always hard however we are very happy with the results.
Now it's your turn to be inspired as I interviewed each one of them. Same interview different day. At the end.. you will VOTE BluDomain's 2006 Photographer of the Year. That photographer will win a $500.00 cash prize and more but most importantly the prestigious title of being Blu's Photographer of the Year 2006 and of course the trophy will be presented.

What advice you have for photographers who are just getting started.. stay true to yourself. Photograph what you want and not just what your clients want you to.
Something that is overrated.. reality tv
A helpful tip that has been useful.. treat others the way you want to be treated.
What I know.. I am not in control. When I try to control things, I waste a lot of energy for nothing.
What I know now that I didn't know then... hard work really will pay off.
A vendor or product that has helped me grow... Successware has been a huge help in allowing me to see the truth of numbers on a daily basis.

The hardest part of photographing is... never doing the same thing twice.
A single contribuing factor to my success.. putting God and my family first. Keeping my focus right seems to help everything else fall into place.
" I think photography is the most awesome career in the world. When those days arise that I don't feel like that, I take a minute to figure out what is clouding my focus. It is usually that I have been overworked by saying yes to too many things. I try to adjust things and get back on track so I can love what I do again. Balance is not a place that you arrive, but a quality that you constantly have to work at."

My weakness is.. worrying I try so hard not to, but before I know I have picked it back up again and I'm trying to worry my way through life. I hate it!!! I think I'm getting better though.
