Okay really only 14 more days until Valentine's Day

Idea #2 - In the mood for love? Host a private dinner for two. If you enjoy cooking together, plan and prepare a dinner together.

Try this "Shrimp Fra Diavolo with Penne Rigate"  What you need- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined - 1 teaspoon kosher salt, plus more to taste - 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper -1 teaspoon dried crushed red pepper flakes - 3 tablespoons olive oil - 1 medium onion, finely chopped -1 (28-ounce) can diced tomatoes with juices -1 cup dried white wine - 3 garlic cloves, chopped - 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves - 1 pound Barilla penne pasta - 1/4 cup chopped fresh fl at-leaf parsley - 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil

The Directions- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. In a medium bowl, toss the shrimp with 1 teaspoon each salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and saute until just cooked through, about 2 minutes. Remove shrimp with a slotted spoon, and set aside. Add the onion to the same skillet and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes with their juices, wine, garlic, and oregano, and simmer until the sauce thickens, about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, add the pasta to the boiling salted water
and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender but still firm to the bite, about 8 minutes. Drain the pasta.
Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and stir to coat. Add the shrimp and the accumulated juices to the sauce pan and stir to combine. Remove the pan from the heat and toss in the parsley and basil. Season with more salt to taste and serve. Don’t waste your olive oil. By using good
quality pasta, you don’t need to add oil to the cooking water. Olive oil does nothing for the taste of pasta and its usage will make the pasta slippery, allowing the sauce to slide off the pasta. .the story goes like this. Blu had a self-portrait contest. I was the judge and picked this sexy boy named "Eric" below as the winner. Lo and behold he claims his prize and tells me he is from Colorado! Unfortunately I can't pursue my professional clients or he would be my new boyfriend. Today project director, Aundrea just picked up the latest copy of 5280 (a very hot Denver magazine) because her hot, sexy girlfriend Renee Herlocker just made the cover as Denver's Sexiest Single and GUESS WHO is the sexiest single male in Colorado? Yes the famous sexy guy "Eric Laurits"  Okay so I need to write the editors because you all have to agree that this photo of Eric below is way sexier! And you all remember Herlocker's photo shoot last year for our WPPI campaign by the famous www.jvsimages.com. So congrats to the both of them.

.I spent the weekend in Park City, Utah at the Sundance Film Festival. Parties, celebrities, snowboarding and lots of cute boys! My favorite celebrity sighting - Sean Combs, Sienna Miller & Justin Timberlake.  The must-have drink at the Sundance - " The Sundance Drink" To shake one up at home, combine 1½ oz. of Cointreau with 1½ oz. Mount Gay rum, 1¼ oz. lime juice, ¼ oz. lemon juice and 1 oz. sugar syrup. Shake with ice and strain into a martini glass. The hot party- MySpaces shindig at Tao. What was hot? A piece of advice that improved my photography- Wasn't really advice from a photographer.  It was from my grandfather.  He was the one that told me repeatedly I have a gift.  So it wasn't really advice,
it was just inspiration to move forward and pursue something I was good at.   So I guess that was the
best advice.

If not a photographer I would have been- A graphic designer.  Oh wait, I am a graphic designer already.

Something I'm proud of- My family.  They are the best.  And my girlfriend.  She has supported me

On a Friday night at 8 PM you'll find me- Sadly, athome.  Probably about to fall asleep, and hopefully resting for a shoot (those are always good to be doing).  Driving from New Orleans to Baton Rouge every morning and night is exhausting (3 hours round trip,and yes I do it 5 days a week).

.i would think many of you girls would agree that having a hunky piece of man meat like "Jake" so close in proximity is as cruel as waving a piece of candy in front of a child. I'm sitting at work today and I'm serious this photo pops onto my computer screen. I about fell off my chair. Well I actually did. He is my new boyfriend.... well crush.  He is 6'7" and my new man of 2007.

.Stay tuned. Did you know January is an insane month for us because all photographers are on break or gearing up for their season. Due to this, responses may take up to 24-36 hours instead of an hour or two. I'm making that number big because it NEVER takes that long. Well except today. (hehe)  Did you ever wish there were more than 24 hours in a day.
